Our story
Kohi for coffee. Don for donburi.
“Kohi” is how Japan says coffee; “don” is the donburi rice bowl. KOHI & DON brings the two to one table — a calm, minimalist Japanese-style café where a well-made coffee or matcha sits next to a proper bowl.
We started in 2024 at Megan Avenue II, near KLCC in Kuala Lumpur: a small shophouse café in warm wood and clean lines, serving omurice, curry, donburi and our homemade dumpling omelette — the Oyaji Omu Dumpling. In late 2025 we brought the same menu to Star City, Kuantan, with a grand opening on 25 January 2026.
Everything is made fresh, one portion at a time, for every age — a place for more than coffee: somewhere to eat well and slow down.
